Boosting revenue and reputation: Danwood's high growth strategy

The brief_

Specialist print management company Danwood received venture capitalist funding, and a new board was put in place with the aim of transforming the organisation.

They wanted to reposition Danwood as a white knight of the print management sector, but restructuring had left them with a limited marketing team, so Danwood approached The Marketing Pod for strategic support.

Understand their world

We spent time on-site at Danwood, attending internal meetings and working closely with the Danwood team, so that we could get to grips with the business.

Develop a marketing plan

We used what we had learnt about Danwood to develop a marketing plan in line with their defined sales objectives.

Deliver compelling campaigns

We then managed and executed the activities in the marketing plan, delivering a wide range of activity from blog content and a comprehensive sales toolkit to a customer satisfaction programme and an events programme.

The results_

With the support of The Marketing Pod, Danwood successfully boosted both its revenue and its reputation, which maximised the brand’s equity before it was acquired by Apogee.

" I was impressed with the speed with which The Marketing Pod understood the complexities of our organisation and our market, very quickly grasping our objectives, product set and strategy, and translating that into the range of material & activity we required.

“The Pod team took the time within Danwood to get to know a range of stakeholders, and that reaped rewards in terms of delivering against our substantial ambitions and targets. This dedicated face time & flexibility was a really important factor in The Marketing Pod’s success and in my opinion is what sets them apart from other agencies."
