Engaging gas industry stakeholders to accelerate decarbonisation 

As the central service data provider for the UK’s gas market, Xoserve understands that the gas sector needs to decarbonise if the country is to reach its net zero targets. A partnership between Northern Gas Networks, Cadent, the Health and Safety Executive, Keele University, ITM Power and Progressive Energy, demonstrating the gas network can carry a blend of hydrogen with no impact on the customer’s gas supply.

• Future Billing Methodology

Xoserve is supporting Cadent in focusing on optimising the use of renewable-source gases, such as biomethane and hydrogen-methane blends, in order to meet the UK’s net zero target.
