We are looking for a new Account Director to join the Pod team.

The Marketing Pod: Account Director. 

Leading the development of strategic accounts within The Marketing pod, this role is a senior role within the business. We believe in face time and strong relationships with our clients, so you will need the ability to manage a busy working week alongside multi-client requests. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Full management of client accounts comprising varying marketing activity across various sectors and segments: from full PR led campaigns to content, and from events to strategy and planning 
•  Forming, leading and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans across clients 
•  PR lead across The Pod (and support for other accounts) 
•  Account reviews, client facing meetings – this will involve UK based travel 
•  Business development, both within existing customer base and to new prospects 
•  Relevant administrative support including Work in Progress sheets, hours tracking etc 

We would love you to be: 

A PR professional, with experience in roles either client side or agency side. A positive, full of ideas, driven individual with a real desire to want to deliver award winning campaigns for your clients. With a PR bias you will be a qualified individual to at least degree level, and can operate at a senior level across the full marketing mix to represent all services The Pod can offer. A people person, with the ability to work independently and to tight timescales, without feeling the pressure. Attention to detail, an outstanding work ethic and being highly organised are all essential. 

Preferred (not essential): B2b experience and utilities experience. 

Full time, Monday – Friday. 

Based in Hockley Heath, Solihull.
