Client: Ensek

The brief

Ensek provides settlement solutions for energy suppliers within the UK, from the challenger brands through to the Big Six. As a small company they were struggling to achieve cut through amongst their target audience (finance teams) in articulating the problem with their current practices.

The approach

In order to expose the problem, The Marketing Pod developed a campaign that would explain the issue in a clear and visual way and used independent, objective insight to add credibility to Ensek’s message. The Pod team developed a questionnaire and worked with a preferred MRS-accredited B2B partner to deliver in-depth interviews with the senior members of their target audience: CEOs and Finance Directors of the Big Six energy companies.

The result

The insight bolstered Ensek’s argument and the research results were used to produce a report and visuals that explained the issues in a jargon-free way. The report was launched at an event attended by Ensek’s target audience, resulting in three new energy supplier leads. The report also received extensive trade coverage and won Silver at the CIPR Awards 2015.
