Client: Opus Trust Marketing

The brief

To determine Opus Trust Marketing’s core brand personality, market position and core messages to market ahead of a full brand relaunch. The new position should enable the company to successfully grow market share within existing sectors, as well as allow them to target new areas of the market with appropriate propositions.

The approach

The Marketing Pod devised and ran a series of brand and proposition workshops with the Opus Trust Marketing board. These enabled us to identify the company’s core strengths, innovations, competitive position and key targets. The Marketing Pod then scrutinised the outputs, creating comprehensive analysis and recommendations that identified the core elements of the company’s brand, its personality, tone of voice and ensured the voice of the customer was identified clearly both within the context of the marketplace and Opus Trust Marketing’s offerings.

The result

The output from the workshops has permeated all of Opus Trust Marketing’s customer facing materials. From the over-arching brand personality and position identified, which give rise to a full re-brand, to segmented messaging houses tailoring communications to different customer groups. The new tone of voice, look and feel and position is now reinforced throughout the website, customer communications, video content and collateral. The Marketing Pod also produced full brand guidelines which are used in the production of everything from brochures to staff uniforms.
